The IAFC has received a notification from FEMA seeking assistance in providing a list of peer reviewers for AFG, SAFER and FP&S Grant Programs. As an IAFC member, we invite you to play an important role in supporting the fire service by serving as an IAFC representative to review AFG, SAFER, and FP&S grant applications.
Panel dates are offered both virtually and in-person (NETC, Emmitsburg, MD):
- Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG): July 13-17*
- Fire Prevention & Safety (FP&S): July 20-24*
- Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER): July 20-24*

Your expertise and insight are invaluable in helping ensure these critical funding opportunities are awarded to programs that will have the most impact on departments and communities. IAFC and our colleagues in other organizations have continuously advocated for this funding to continue. Reviewer participation is essential to maintaining a thorough and effective evaluation process and shows our continued support for this funding.
