TOWN OF MEDWAY
FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC
Responsibilities include responding to medical emergencies, fire suppression, fire prevention, and station duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Eighteen (18) years of age
•High School graduate or equivalent
•Possess a valid driver’s license
•Possess a current Paramedic License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health or ability to obtain said license within ten (10) months.
•Successful candidates will be required to successfully pass a CORI check, a background check, a physical exam including a drug test and a physical ability test (PAT)
•Successful completion of the MA Fire Academy Firefighter training preferred.
•Candidates and Veterans with previous successful completion of the MA Fire Academy or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience as a Paramedic in a 911 service will be given preference.
