The Board of Directors has approved a new Legal Defense Fund Request Form that should be used going forward. The form is available on the website “Just for Chiefs” tab.
The form should be completed and sent to your District Director, and the Secretary/Treasurer (fcamsec@comcast.net) and will be provided to the Executive Board for review and determination of further action. The President(s) have the discretion to approve one (1) hour of time with the FCAM Legal Counsel as the initial consult.
The requesting Chief should make sure that the District Director is kept up to date on what is happening regarding the matter at hand. Additional consultation time may be approved by the Board of Directors if requested.
