FCAM 2027 Fiscal Year Dues
Thank you to everyone who has responded to the dues notice. Since notices began going out on July 5, we have received more than half of the dues to date. If you have not received your notice, please check your spam folder and let me know if I should send the invoice another way.

Lobbyist Information
As you know, FCAM has engaged a lobbyist from Nixon Peabody. Our Accountant has advised that lobbyist fees are nondeductible and recommends including the following disclosure statement:
“While dues are not charitable contributions, they may be deductible as business expenses, excluding lobbying activity. We estimate that approximately 25% of these dues are not deductible for income tax purposes due to lobbying.”
Membership Cards
A small batch of membership cards was sent with the phrase “Member in good standing through 6/30/2026” instead of the updated 2027 date. I apologize for the error. If you would like a new card with the correct date, please email me at secretary@fcam.org.
Chiefs Legal Defense Fund
I have forwarded the list of Chiefs who signed up for the Chiefs Legal Defense Fund to Attorney Andrew Gambaccini at Vigliotti, Gambaccini & Akerson, P.C. You should receive an email from Attorney Gambaccini’s office confirming your enrollment. If you have not signed up and would like to, please let me know as soon as possible. As a reminder, the cost is $300 per year for unlimited consultation, if needed. Those who choose not to sign up may still request assistance through the Board for review.
