FY 2024 AFG Grant Application Period – Opens Nov. 12The FY 2024 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Application period opens Nov. 12, 2024 at 9 a.m. ET and closes Dec. 20, 2024 at 5 p.m. ET. Plan your FY 2024 AFG application by reviewing the FY 2024 AFG NOFO today at AFG Grant Documents | FEMA.gov. Application PortalThe online AFG grant application is available through the AFG FEMA GO (FEMA Grants Outcomes) application portal at https://go.fema.gov.All users must have their own FEMA GO account. Each account is specific to the authorized user and must not be shared with other personnel. A FEMA GO Account Creation User Guide can be viewed on the SAFER Program website or downloaded to your computer. FY 2024 AFG Application Development Training Series and Q&A The FY 2024 Application Development Training Series – YouTube is a playlist of seven videos designed to educate eligible applicants on all aspects related to developing a successful application for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant. The videos cover the fundamentals of the program, the application submission process and activity specific topics. There is a separate schedule for live Q&A sessions to provide an opportunity for FY 2024 AFG applicants to interact with AFG Headquarters and Regional program staff and to ask questions about the AFG Program, the FY 2024 AFG Application and/or FEMA GO.
