The May General Membership meeting and Installation of Officers occurred at the Double Tree Hotel in Westborough on Wednesday May 21, 2025 with over 100 attendees. Chief Patrick Purcell was installed as the 103rd President of the Fire Chiefs Association of Massachusetts, by Chief Kevin Breen from Marlborough. Chief Purcell’s wife Tina and other family members, Board of Selectmen, Town Manger Kristi Williams, and the Westborough Fire Department were all on hand to congratulate Chief Purcell on his swearing in as the new FCAM President.
Outgoing President Chief Michael Kelleher administered the oath of office to Executive Officers: Chief Brian Nardelli as 2nd Vice President, Chief Christopher Norris as 2nd Vice President, and Chief Kevin Partridge as Secretary-Treasurer, as well as Board of Directors.
Chief Michael Kelleher was recognized by President Purcell for his work over the last year serving as the FCAM President, and presented him with a watch. Fire Marshal Davine also thanked Chief Kelleher for working with him over the last year.
President Purcell and IPP Kelleher acknowledge Chief Keith Stark from Weymouth for his role on the Board of Directors and as the N.E. Director on the IAFC Board, and Chief David Hurlbut from Sterling for his thirteen years of service on the Board of Directors.
