Today, the U.S Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that the application periods for the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grants and the Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&S) grants will start on May 23.
The application period will open on May 23 at 9 AM (Eastern) and close on THURSDAY, July 3 at 5 PM (Eastern). Please note that the application period closes on the Thursday before Independence Day.
