Stephen J Carroll “Keba” of Jamaica Plain, died peacefully on January 1, 2025, at the Morton Hospital from complications of lung disease.
Born in Jamaica Plain on September 7, 1951, to Andrew Paul “Skip” Carroll and Rita Ellen Carroll, he was educated at Blessed Sacrament School and graduated from The Christopher Columbus High School.
Stephen is survived by his older brother Paul Carroll and wife Marge of Scituate, his twin sisters ,Mary Druan of Kennebunk, ME, predeceased by her husband Paul Druan; Ann Rogers of Walpole, predeceased by her husband William Rogers and brother Joseph and his wife Karen of Norwell, MA; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He will be mourned by family and friends, including Betty and Robert Serafian.
Funeral from The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury Thursday January 9 at 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am
The Burial will be immediately following the mass at St. Joseph’s Cemetery with a gathering of family and friends following to revisit all things good with Jamaica Plain and subsequent stories at The Elks, 1 Morrell St. West Roxbury from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
