Obituary
Carol A. Nodurf, 69, of Ludlow, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Carol was born in Dover, Delaware, on November 1, 1956, a daughter of Rose Marie (Carrignan) King and the late Earl K. King. Throughout her career, she worked in various roles within the banking industry, including as a teller, data clerk, and branch manager.
Active and creative, Carol enjoyed crafting, traveling, volunteering, and making the most of her retirement. Above all, her greatest joy was being a Mémère. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, and anything involving them brought her tremendous happiness. Her love and devotion to Remy, Ethan, Hazel, Josh, and Jack were at the very heart of her life.
Carol leaves her husband, Stephen Nodurf of Ludlow; her three daughters, Abby Mish and her husband, Matt, of South Hadley, Nicole Duffus and her husband, Mike, of Belchertown, and Christine Roy of Ludlow; and her five beloved grandchildren, Remy, Ethan, Hazel, Josh, and Jack. She also leaves her mother, Rose Marie (Carrignan) King; her siblings, Ki Eno of South Hadley, Laurie Sexton and her husband, Tommy, of South Hadley, Diane Sexton and her husband, David, of Chicopee, and Marie Davis and her husband, John, of Chicopee; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Earl K. King.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the O’Brien Family Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley.
