Town of Groton Fire Department seeks Deputy Fire Chief applicants.

The Town of Groton Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Career Deputy Fire Chief. Qualified candidates shall have a minimum of 10 years progressively responsible experience as a firefighter/EMT with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. The Deputy Fire Chief will serve in a weekday position in both administrative and operational roles, supervising on-call and career personnel.

Candidates should have Fire Officer 1 and Fire Instructor 1 Certifications. Additional education, training and duties descriptions can be found in the Deputy Fire Chief Job Description, which is available upon request. Salary and other benefits will be negotiated commensurate with qualifications and experience.
