Dear Members of the Fire Chiefs Association of Massachusetts,
I hope this message finds you well. As we navigate the challenges posed by recent statewide brushfires, I want to take a moment to address the impact these events have on our communities and the vital role we play in ensuring their safety.
The recent brushfires have underscored the importance of our preparedness and response strategies. Your Board of Directors has been engaged throughout the last week through Fire Mobilization and daily meetings with the Fire Marshall, DCR, MEMA and EOPS.
In light of these events, I urge all members to review our Fire Mobilization response protocols. It is crucial that we learn from each incident to enhance our capabilities for future challenges. I also encourage you to share your experiences and insights during our upcoming meetings, as collaboration will strengthen our overall response efforts.
