The Framingham Fire Department is deeply saddened to announce the passing of active-duty Firefighter Keith Cashman.
Firefighter Cashman faithfully served the citizens of Framingham and the Commonwealth with professionalism, courage, and dedication. He began his fire service career with the Fall River Fire Department before joining the Framingham Fire Department, where he proudly served for the past 10 years. In total, Firefighter Cashman devoted 15 years of dedicated commitment to the fire service.
Throughout his career, Firefighter Cashman exemplified the highest traditions of our profession — service above self, compassion for others, and an unwavering dedication to protecting his community. His steady presence and professionalism earned the respect and friendship of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
The members of the Framingham Fire Department extend our heartfelt condolences to Firefighter Cashman’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his brothers and sisters in the fire service.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. His visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
