The IAFC is looking for 10-15 individuals to be founding members of the IAFC Diversity Executive Leadership Program (iDELP), designed to support fire service leaders from underrepresented identity groups and others interested in fostering a diverse workforce, all while providing advancement opportunities into IAFC leadership and the national fire and emergency service. The goal of the program is to establish an annual cohort of participants that represents diversity across the fire service. Throughout the program, the group will: - Meet in person twice a year for an opportunity to learn from peers
- Develop and share solutions to current and emerging issues
- Be provided mentorship from a top leader in fire/EMS
- Learn how to advance into IAFC and national fire and emergency leadership positions
Candidates will be required to pay for some travel, but sponsors or the IAFC will cover meals and sessions. If you meet the requirements and are interested in joining something special, apply today. Applications are due by Friday, April 14. If you have any further questions, please contact Tim Hopkins. |
