On May 22, 2024, FCAM hosted its annual membership meeting and recognized outgoing President Chief Peter Burke Jr who served in 2023-2024, and was sworn in as the Immediate Past President.
Burke who serves as the Fire Chief of Hyannis Fire Department, did an excellent job leading the association over the last year and with his Life Membership from outgoing Secretary Chief Jack Parow Ret. State Fire Marshal Jon Davine also presented Chief Burke with a plaque for his support and cooperation in working with the Department of Fire Services over the last year.
As President Burke’s last official duty, he swore in, 1st Vice President Chief Patrick Purcell; Westborough, 2nd Vice President Chief Brian Nardelli; Brockton, and Secretary-Treasurer Chief Kevin Partridge Ret.; Easton Chiefs and the 15 Chiefs from each of the Fire Districts as Directors who make up the Board of Directors. Each Board of Directors represents the Chiefs from the cities and towns within each of their fire districts.
