This program informs Chief Officers about the line-of-duty death benefits available through the Federal Government PSOB program, and will provide guidance on completing the PSOB claims process. The webinar will cover new cancer benefits for firefighters under the Honoring our Fallen Heroes Act, specifically those who retired or died of cancer since 2020. It will also review death, education, and disability benefits for survivors of fallen first responders and officers injured in the line of duty.
