Child Passenger Safety Education and Assistance Program
Applications accepted on a rolling basis through August 31, 2026, or funds run out, whichever comes first
The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) invites eligible state and municipal agencies, not-for-profit hospitals and 501(c) (3) organizations serving families and/or children to request car seats that can be distributed to families in need.
To be eligible for the Child Passenger Safety Education and Assistance Program, an organization must have a certified Childe Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician on staff who is providing in-person car seat checks for the organization and meet other criteria outlined in the Notice of Solicitation of Applications.
This program is made available through grant funds awarded to OGR by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Eligibility:
Massachusetts municipal agencies, state agencies, not-for-profit hospitals, and 501 (c)(3) organizations serving children and/or families and that meet all of the requirements in the Child Passenger Safety Education and Assistance Program Notice of Solicitation of Applications are eligible to apply.
Application deadline:
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed on a first-come, first-served until August 31, 2026, or until funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
