The Milton Fire Department announced the Line of Duty Death of Firefighter Danio Thomas at the age of 49. Firefighter Thomas succumbed to occupational cancer on Sunday October 12, 2025. FF Thomas served the Milton Fire Department for 28 years.
Visitation will be at the Milton High School auditorium, 25 Gile Road, Milton, Saturday October 25 from 8:00-8:45 AM. FF Danio will be honored with a uniformed walk-through at 8:50 AM and the Celebration of Life Service will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Internment to follow at Milton Cemetery.
Class A uniform with white glove and mourning bands will be uniform for the services.
